Getting Back to Normal...........

Well things are finally getting back to normal. We have moved back to Orlando from Germany. I got here in August but it has taken me this long to get really settled. Seriously..........

My hubby Steve was in Iraq the whole time, he just got back last thursday so it was a bit of a challenge to do everything by myself. We had two household shipments, one from Germany and one from Storage. And in October my parents decided to move back to Florida from Arizona. So I flew out and helped them get everything on a u-haul and we drove cross-county to Florida and unloaded into a storage unit until they could find a house, THEN put it back on a u-haul and into the house.....now you know, if you have been wondering where I have been. With the holidays mixed in there, it has taken me this long to catch my breath. But.........i DID seriously enjoy it all, especially driving a u-haul with a car towed behind....fun stuff!

Moving Back to the States!

After 18 months in Germany we are heading back to the states, Orlando, Florida to be exact. We leave in September. Most of our family is there so it will be nice to see everyone again.

I'm going to miss so much about Germany but am excited to see what opportunities await there.

I've been doing quite a few bazaars over here on the military bases and still have several scheduled. The next one being at Ramstein AFB, Ramstein, Germany on June 27, 28 & 29.

I have been making alot of new jewelry, so much so that I haven't had time for much else, hence my lack of posts in awhile.

Yea, I know, Been gone awhile........

Yea, I know I have been gone for awhile, I have been so side tracked with jewelry etc, that I have let the time slip away from me. I promise to try to do better!

I have started moving in a different direction, mainly with wire, I do like to try new things! My pieces sure have come a long way since I started making jewelry a few years ago, I am embarrased by some of the pieces I made back then!

I have been filling my etsy shop, adding new things weekly. I am also having a holiday sale, "Buy 2 pieces get 1 free" This is advertised in my shop and will also be in my advertisement that will be on www.indiefixx.com starting tommorrow in the holiday guide.

Apple Face ~ Friendly or Evil??

I looked out my kitchen window to see my neighbors fruit trees, full of fruit but what do I see but this apple looking back at me, does anyone see this but me?


The picture could have been better but it was taken through the screen on my window. He has his 2 eyes, mouth and rosy little cheeks, I think he is kinda cute!

Been working in the yard a bit, fall is coming, it is here anyway!

My son Matthew is all settled in his apartment now, he loves it! Who wouldn't at 18! HA!

New Shop on Etsy.com Open!

The new shop on Etsy.com is now open. The jewelry pieces you will find there are different than what I have on my web-site. Of course all is still made with sterling silver or 14KT gold plate, which I have just started using.

I have started making rings also using a wire wrap technique, I really love them, they are so cute and fun to make, so it is a pleasure, above is a picture of the new Citrine Wire Wrapped Ring. It and others can be purchased at http://www.thebeadedangel.etsy.com/

I have been making lots of jewelry lately and will be adding it daily to Etsy. I am going to focus more on Etsy that the web-site right now, although I am still selling on the web-site and will continue to update and add to it.

Other than jewelry, my husband & I went for a long drive yesterday and found some nice spots along the river nearby that you can swim, launch a boat or just bring a chair and a cooler of drinks and read a good book under the shade trees next to the river. I will take some pics next time and post them. There are really some gorgeous areas over here...I like to share!

EMPTY NESTER'S!

Hello!

Wow! I can hardly believe it, I can now say that my husband & I are empty Nester’s! Me at the ripe old age of 45? How is that possible??

Our son Matthew graduated from High School earlier this month and yesterday we put him on a plane bound for the states, back to his friends and part of our family. He is as happy as a clam back in Orlando, Florida to go to college, will have an apartment, what else could an 18 year old want!? . It was so sad to see him go but knowing he is happy, we are happy.

On that note, I will have more time than ever to devote to my jewelry! In the near future I will be opening a shop on Etsy.com that will include all new items, some a bit different than you are used to seeing.

Of course I still have my web-site http://www.thebeadedangel.com/ but will continue to do both and more!
